A Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (or even UMAC) occurs as college athletic conference attached sustaining a NAIA. Formed around 1972 when a Twin Rivers Conference, the UMAC assumed its todays title in the early 1980’s. Member institutions come in the U.S. states of Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. A UMAC & its attached schools come in the run of transitioning to the NCAA’s Division Deuce-ace.

Previous members include Concordia University-St. Paul, Loras College, Mount Senario College, Northwestern College-Wisconsin, & Pillsbury Baptist Bible College.

Sports
A UMAC sponsors intercollegiate competition inside men’s baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s football, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s softball, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.
